Haha, if only I looked this good in the morning.
This is a pretty solid piece. I really liked the colors you used. The transition from the grey-ish blues and lavenders into the yellows and oranges really sets the tone and shows the woman is waking up.
I also really love the woman's expression. She's clearly not entirely awake, so it's kind of like a "huh?" face. I would have liked to see a few more things in the background, but I guess that would have taken away from her.
What is also interesting to me is the way her shadow contrasts against her. It's like she's being pulled out of a dream or something, and the shadow is the small bits of that dream starting to fade away. At least, that's my interpretation. Once it transitions into the sunny flowers and colors you can barely make out the tiles. So, it's kind of like she's slowly coming back to reality.
Very well done. Really like the use of light and contrast between the colors juxtaposed to her.
