The first think that struck me about this piece were the eyes. The colours create a wonderfully dynamic feel and the galactic element of the Big Bang really comes across.
I've been a follower of your youtube for some time now and think that you have a very strong personal style as an artist and this piece shows that perfectly and shows just how well you do portraits. The water colour style as well perfectly suits it to create a really ethereal looking girl that works really well.
Really fantastic job! your pieces are beautiful, keep up the good work.
How you use the space on the canvas is simply amazing, there is so much peace about your works a lot but at the same time a lot of pain as your express that through your eyes mainly, as your hair creates a mind set of this girl being wild but also unseen.
Not many artist can continued to be so original after so long you truly have a great sense of originality.
Your use of minimalism is always something to be treasured, as you tell so much through so little, colours are visually striking as your add to the feeling of being unseen through my eyes that is.
Stunning peace thank you so much for showing it to us, it has inspired me and many others to try new things and always believe in ourselves.
First time being a critique but I felt it was necessary to send my thanks to you personally.
Please please PLEASE make this available as a print! I would LOVE to have this! And about 10 of your other pieces... >.> Absolutely gorgeous! And I love watching your videos too. It's breathtaking to see the painting come together.
There is no word to explain how I feel about your work. I constantly inspired by your ideas, techniques and mediums. Every work that you've done is just so amazing and I am really into your art. Thank you very much!
Does any one know the name of the song that is used in the YouTube video????? The painting is AWESOME, all around love it. The detail in the eye is insanely nice and just the mixture of the colors is crazy nice.
To begin, the color draws the viewer in with it's extremely organic shape made into a recognizable face. The eye is immediately brought into focus. The overall mood of this piece is unique... I just want to sit and visually explore her face... and make up a story to with it... who is she, where does she live, what is she like... This piece is just captivating. Someday someone needs to write a fantasy novel after seeing your work, and the pieces can be illustrations as the story progresses... because they are such beautiful pieces that fire the imagination. I envy your skills.
Here is my review for this piece. The star rating will not load to allow me to send the rating to Agnes. If you read this and like it, I thank you tremendously. If you read this and don't like it, my apology to you. Liking it doesn't have to be agreeing with it, just so you know.
This piece is stunning. It holds an esscence of explosion amongst nothing. Similar in styling towards the title concept used. It dazzles the eyes with the poetic visual sense of the scenario in progress. Showcasing the gust of wind blowing the hair about on the head of a lady whilst the begins to set behind her. It spellbinds with it's illustrious display of colors, while keeping the mind conjuring more due to the blankness around the figure. It is, sadly, not an image that the average John or Jane can fully see this brilliance of. I love it!
maybe add another color to contrast the yellow so i dont think a household pet might have peed on it. The painting is better than that impression , unless you want some of your audience to consider the outlandish act. I mean to say, what artist lets their pets into the studio ( lol, thats sarcasm, i have some paintings that have a couple of dog tail additions since the beginning. and A lot of artists use Cats as models.. so Most Def. Sarcasm )
It's easier to see a Lions head in the top portion of the painting than it is to see her face in the middle. at very first impression it looked like a painting of hair. If you were trying to hide her to reveal her after a few moments glance then you have succeeded to me. paintings of hair don't seem to appealing by themsleves unless the artist only works with hair nd has perfected the topic to provide some different hair pieces ( HA!haha) every now and again.
