I think the composition of the piece is great; you give both characters roughly equal space within the rough rectangular shape you can create around the immediate detail and focus of the painting. The drips flowing down the page are also well down, composition wise, as they are slightly leaning towards the right hand side of the page, which counters the immediate visual attraction to the left hand side of the piece from the mosaic and lighter female face. The only minor areas are to the left of the woman's eye and the top right of the man's hair; these two bold splash marks draw the viewers eye away from the focus of the piece.

The technique is amazing; the depth of the water colour and the detail of it really works well, especially with the combination of white pen to create a mosaic, puzzle like effect, which draws our eye all over the piece, making every section individual and worth its own merit.

The mood created is extremely intense; as previously mentioned the superb, (pre-thought?) use of rosey colours closer to the the two character's connection illuminates their emotions and adds life to them, whilst the "blue" tonal range, dispersing outwards from this emphasizes the aforementioned effect.

All in all; a great job.
