I appreciate this piece because of how subtle and delicate it is. The colors are so muted, but overall with such a quiet palette the reds and yellows create an impact on the feel of the painting.

The greys and blue hues draw me to a wintery, cold feeling, which I feel connects with the focal point and subject of the piece itself. As well as the concentrated area of detail on the face surround by a more washed out radial area (compared to your other works), it's draws the eye without diminishing the overall work.

This piece feels so fragile, and with your overpowering technique with watercolors I'm impressed with your capability to produce something so timid and of an introverse nature. Good job.
