Very nice use of colors and bold dark lines. I only wonder what the background would like if there was a slight tint, wash or gradient in any degree. It seems that since every object within the painting has that the background would have a little bit of it as well. While it may be part of your style it might help the painting merge with its container. The painting doesn't lose anything without the background however so it is not like you have to do this.

On another note I like the clean edges and how the colors travel up them. it makes the painting's depth incredible believable and legible.

The imagery of the black banner with the shimmering of colors slipping from behind it is beautiful. You can tell from the facial expression of the girl and the position of her arms that there's a hidden will and hope that slips through the darkness. I love that kind of imagery. The power of one's dreams and will.

The hands are beautifully drawn and that hidden white stream of hair is an interesting touch. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it but it's nonetheless interesting. The only odd component comes from the elbows and shoulders. They look slightly off placed.

Anyhow, I'd love to buy a large printing of this for my wall. Like I said, this kind of imagery is my favorite and it's inspiring.

As always I absolutely love your work! What really captured my attention in this particular piece was the tangible emotion conveyed in the face and more spectacularly through her body language! You really are an exceptional artist!

An exquisite piece, I see that you are seeking criticism, but I am afraid you will find none from me. This piece tells a story, a story so eloquently written through colors and lines, so beautifully presented, that it could have thirteen million different morals, and all one would see is it's beauty. Brava, my friend, brava.

Others voices, stranger's whispers,
storming mind, consciousness and soul to the bone,
an act of strenght it is, when the smokes of rumours strike, to follow your way strong and bold.

I like where you are going with this...plenty of opportunities to expand on the background theme as well (reverse the black and white negative spaces and play with the color patterns even more).  Awesome to see that you are breaking out in even more directions!

Beautiful work, the skin is gorgeous, and the expression is so powerfully conflicted and distressed. I love that you chose to have her block out sound with her arms rather than her hands! This looks nice from an artist's perspective, allowing you to have the delicate lines of her arms and hands out to sort of represent how delicate and fragile she may feel just now, but it's also more practical overall if you're trying to block out sound because your arms are both thicker and more malleable at surface than your hands are! Great work!
