I made this painting for a project about Cluster Headache (for info [link]).
I was contacted by Al.ce Cluster Europe [link] to create this piece of art for it to be exposed in their art gallery dedicated to such disease.
The coordinator of the forementioned association, Claudio Geraci, requested some paintings for him about the topic, where as the first painting was the burden, this is the pain.

It's amazing. A brief opinion: I think it would be great if it had more little details. I know how wxplosive, intense and strong emotions all of your paintings have. But i think it would be amazing if you tried to detail more the explotions of emotions on your paintings in such way that i seemes more... profound. Try to give life to your explotions in such way that they have something to SCREAM as well! To say. I know you could easily do it if you tried it. You're amazing and I admire you and respect you really strongly.

The first thing that strikes me about this piece, is the fact that the chaos seems to originate from the subjects head - not the mouth where we get the auditory stimulation. This is an incredibly accurate depiction of how the most noise can come from the mind - not the mouth. This is simply my interpretation, but I like the way the subject seems to be either sinking back into the chaos or being sucked back by it. It is eclipsing the eyes of the subject (which tend to be important focal points in emotional pieces) and it shrouds the piece in mystery. The red makes the chaos seem more severe and, in a way, more human because of the way the color could be paralleled with blood. Overall - an incredible piece. As always.

The left, unfocused, eye took me off from this piece. It's like his pain is ambiguous, arbitrary. I find suffering to be directed a specified source, not a range of vague inputs; the mind of a fearful person whom suffer from analysis paralysis would comprehend this vague signals, but would must likely despise them. ;)

Dear Agnes, I suffer from daily migraines and you have really captured the pain, visually and musically for me. The emotions I feel are hidden behind a blank stare, trained to do so to not bring down the party. BUT that is how I feel on the inside. Ty for sharing your work by video, I really enjoyed it.

It's amazing how you could capture the pain with this picture. I could feel even before seeing the title. Very Good job on this one! And loved the speedpainting as well (the one you chose the song).
