It looks to me like you paid an incredible amount of attention to the detail in this. It's hard to tell what's what but I guess that's supposed to be the point, it kind of reminds me of what someone with visual impairments might see. The colors are very well done along with the lighting but it's a little messy in some areas, like in her hair (on the right part of it anyway). The only other thing I don't like about this is the stream of tears running down her face, it looks out of place, especially with the way it runs off like a tap instead of collecting in drops. It's awesome, it just needs more touch ups.

To me, this drawing, isn't only a painting, it's like a mix of feelings to be noticed when you're sad, it's like... uhm... if she was looking at somewhere and noticed there was someone looking at her and she turned around to see that person (which this person is the people that see the drawing). It may also represent that she feels like everyone sees her, but nobody knows her story.
The colors are great and they fit perfectly, like the tonalities of grey on the skin with the black hair, which its mixed with a blue, making it with a "dramatic" feeling or something.
You added a lot of details, too. The shadows are well done and the light is perfect.
Also, the effect of the "looking away" and then to the person it's fabulous, fitting the tears falling off her face and the hair moving with the wind.
This really speaks to me, such a perfect style ;v;

I love your work, it's fragile and passionate with a delicate touch of surrealism. I remember the first time I saw one of your vidoes on youtube and was stunned, and I stil am while looking at your more recent work. You are such an inspiration, keep up the good work :D

it's really totally amazing how you draw the face twice! It has an extraordinary effect and it's also a little confusing and I absolutely wonder how you could draw it like this because I think I would become mad... wonderful work!

For starters, I absolutely love everything that you do. You are one of my favorite artists that I have came across on this site and it's because of the raw emotion that seems to pour out with ease in all of your work. Everything you seem to do is deep and significant while remaining cryptic yet attainable. Your work is pure emotion and I am the biggest of fans. With that being said this is piece is no different in terms of the intense feelings radiating out of it. You combine so many elements of abstract and expression alongside the detail of a portrait artist. Now I can't talk about this piece and not comment on the obvious here...the shift in perspective within one perspective. I love this. You see the deep gaze into her own mind. Adrift in thought. Thinking deeply. There is always a hint of sadness in your art that I love. It's what gives it so much depth. This is just beautiful. The colors and the shift from dark to light. The lines. Everything. But I am biased. I love every piece you put out because I feel I relate to it. I'm not alienated by your work.

It's almost as if she sees something in the head on gaze. It makes me wonder what she sees. Perhaps something sad. An old lover? Whatever it is is resonates within me and makes me wonder. Please keep making these beautiful, deep, and emotional works of art. I am honored to offer my opinion and critique. Thank you. :)

Such a beautiful work of art, one that appears effortlessly painted yet at the same time so cleverly pieced together! One that instantly grabs the attention of a viewer (my self particularly) to me it speaks words of movement, emotion and youth. My initial thoughts were that this was a young girl, distracted from her daily routine (perhaps a school class or lecture) she's swished her head towards whatever it is that's distracting her and we've caught a quick snapshot of this, nobody can see what the young girl is staring at which makes the piece immensely intriguing! My second thoughts were that of fatality, perhaps the double figure represents the soul fleeing the body shortly after an accident? I could spend a good amount of time appreciating the beauty and mystery behind this image. The pale watercolours are used effectively to cast shadows and white fine liner pen to highlight the more detailed parts of the piece, like her eyes. As a new devientART member this is my first critique and I am honoured to write about such a fantastic image and I hope to be exposed by work/talent similar to this throughout my time here.
