he hears the world by agnes-cecile he hears the world by agnes-cecile

your studies evoke mood and contemplation
i would consider them to be impressionist abstraction rather than surreal

He looks like he's in deep agony.

This is why i love sketchy lines. You can capture the feeling of a picture a lot better.

This is nostalgic for me, it reminds me of the terrifying illustrations done by Stephen Gammell for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark from the 80s and 90s.

I love your work, is very impressive. So many things come to mind when looking at your pieces. And so many feelings too. This piece is amazing, and is so true too, soetimes we are a mess because in the world we live is so much chaos and negative energy feeding it.

I think you showed the negative, explosive energy you described beautifully. The lines are amazing, I love their movement.

(the first thing that came into my mind when I saw this painting was that scene in Watchmen where Dr. Manhattan is trying to reassemble himself xD)

If you don't mind I want to write a critique for this work...and I think I will.

When I first saw this piece I couldn't help by shudder so that was the first sign of what I got from this piece is the cold sensation of pain I felt from the character. Looking at it further I noticed the closer his limbs are to his torso, where the lines erupt from him the greater the detail to the area is. This is an excellent technique to lead the eyes towards the center of the body where all the action is and the delivery is excellent.

This piece like the others in your gallery remind me of Jackson Pollock's work only without the bullshit I find in Pollock's work. (you can even make your own peice by him here [link] ) You have the fury that he tries to give in his work but you give it some shape so that way you make it stand out and speak certain emotions better compared to just splashes of paint. In a way you remind me of my friend :iconfeathers-and-ashes: who does some pieces where the true beauty isn't in the detail or the logic of the piece but rather the emotions that you can evoke in people with it.

Anyways I did this as an example of what my standard critique would sound like. I don't know how advanced your English skills are so if I have to do anything to change it by all means let me know. And sometimes if I sound like a jerk feel free to tell me please.

Thanks for letting me have this honor  your work is amazing.

excuse me for my delay.. your comment was so clearly, I understand your words, there are no problems!
thanks for all, I'm quite of the same opinion. I like so much Pollock's works, yes, but for me he was chiefly a "style" inspiration. I see in his and my lines a "quivering energy"..

3 hours!? Oo' Not much? When did you start to paint to get a level like this?
White, eh? Purity's colour into the Western's civilisations, and sorrow one for the Eastern's... I prefer Black =)
