I know... that it is not a very considerable critique, it is just a comment, because I don't think it haves the enough importance to be taken as a serious critique, it is merely an opinion... but... I do think it could be better if it was a little more INTENSE. MUCH more INTENSE and SICK!. Because of the title: "Ill-vision". It is perfect this way, but, I am a person that normally would think of this title with something MUCH moe INTENSE, more... OVERLOADED. Although I do can see the special effects you did that represent how is it that the person is vaguely blinded by illness intels, it's well performed and I think it is very great. Perhaps, you could also represent in the painting, your own way and style as you always do, the reason of the Ill-vision. Viewers could feel it better, understand it better.
Vision - This piece made me look for the critique button. The layout here will be stuck on my brain for a long time since I am relatively photographic in the memory department. It's something that I would try to tell someone I saw, find myself completely speechless and then dig through my favorites to show them.
Originality - As it may not be something that hasn't been done before it did strike me. To see someone else attempt such a piece would most certainly be interesting.
Technique - I felt the layout and colors were very deliberately placed, it feels clean for the most part. The colors don't bleed into each other which feels like patience went into it. The only thing that feels weird for me is the colors running off the page - everything else is confined to the white space but the colors that run off the page... makes me wonder.
Impact - I see emotionS here. As I mentioned above the colors going off the page. That alone feels like the one area that lacked complete control or perfection. The rest feels plotted out and deliberate. I feel lost among a landscape of ones mind. The galaxy of emotions that were captured here send me into the oblivion of my double sided mirror- where in my mind I see me and reflected something like this. The impact this had for just a moment of one day of my life will never be forgotten.
Fuck you're good!! Love how the face is so... incomplete, but still so colorful. Love how the watercolors flows. The look is also very skillfully painted.
