Because we are two destinies that unite
close in only a moment.

speed painting - [link]

it isn't perfect, I know, but when I make these speed paintings I feel myself less quiet, as if someone is watching me. Please be patient! (:

I'm so surprised at the fact that out of so many people who have viewed this piece, and had their breath taken away like me, no one has taken the time to write a critique on it.

But maybe that's because of the fact that there is nothing to critique.

This, will always remain one of my favorite pieces on deviantart, and everywhere. Every time I look at it, I see something new, or am overcome with emotion.

The contrast between the darkly colored male, and the brightly colored female perfect, and so striking. And I really am in love with the way that you have not only included dark colors in the male, but went out of the way to add a pop of green, or a touch of hazel on the cheek.

The anatomy of the faces is spot on, and the expressions even more so, with the male's look of despair, or thinking or longing, and the woman's look of hope, especially in her eyes.

I fail to find any flaws within this painting. Sure, you could say that there are paint splatters here or there, or there are smudges in some places, but I find that to just ADD to the brilliance of the piece, make them look real, and show off your own style.

One of the best details in here is how you have gone back with the white and black pens and added lines around the dark parts of the male's face, and the bright parts on the females. It does so much for such a small detail. And on the male, it even looks a small bit like he's crying, but that might just be my interpretation.

Why this did not receive a daily deviation when it was made, I will never know.

But well done to a stunning, gorgeous, and mesmerizing work of art.

You have truly outdone yourself.

My critique is simple. I love the color, expressions, facial expressions/orientation, technique and title so much that I bought a large print.

What I appreciate most out of your color use and technique is how you can express freedom through movement, and then convey this fully on the canvas. It took me a few months to realize this is what truly attracts me the most to this work and many of your other watercolors. Of course, the sentimentality of this piece is also alluring; the title capturing the sentiment perfectly.

I have looked at tons of art and sculpture. Your art has the uber-wow factor!

Im stunned, while seeing this in someones pick for the "theme" contest, I fell in love. Then I read your "apologies" for the lack of perfection. I disagree, and that was before I knew it was a speedpaintig!?! Amazing. Its perfectly beautiful, and eternally lustful, or passionate. Either way it is awesome. Unreal talent!♡

Loved the way you expressed their personality/ emotions with the choise of colors.
I see this this piece as a moment when someone's walking on the street and passes by a person.
Two completly stranger meet in that one moment and they are so diferent, but, in that moment, they are so close.
