I get why this is boring for you. The color is so subdued. Compared to how wild you normally go. All those earth tones, not you at all in my opinion. And the pose, and expression, no life here, just someone smiling and not very exciting at that. Your work is so much more full of life. And while this to me, seems like an exercise for you, it's so not indicative of your normal amazing style.

I love her expression, her smirk is just right and the eyes are perfect, knowing and amused. And the skin is quite, quite lovely, especially around her eyes and how the light reflects off of her face

Her expression is so natural. Soft and warm. Very authentic.
Broad colour washes blended  in contour directions.
Fine detail just where it's needed.
Just the right amount of empty white space...

In other words... Perfect!
