Love the color and technique... hands can be really challenging, and these are beautiful. I find the high chroma color drips really nicely contrasted by the rest of the piece, which has a lower level of chroma intensity.
Frankly, I very much admire your brush technique and taste in color placement. There are few things I envy more than great painting skills. I would be very curious to hear how long this took you.
Personally, I would have liked to see the persons left eye developed a little bit more, but that is the only criticism.
I wonder... have you tried doing things on a black background? I think that would be an interesting challenge for you.
This piece is great! Keep expanding your horizons :)

Excellent...I love the color work in all your pieces.  I think this one really stands out to me because of the emotion behind it.  Many of your pieces have this, but I feel you really captured this feeling of longing, disaster, sorrow, regret that the subject is thinking/feeling - and then the color pops off of it.  I also like how you used just the right amount of color...this may be completely opposite or different from what you were going for, but as you know art is open to interpretation...I really like this piece!
