Description

..everyone seems to agree on post also the others and here they are!

I made this in a live performance while the model was bound by a bondager. We have recreated the oriental atmosphere of "Memoirs of a Geisha".

This was my first painting, I made three works in something around 30 minutes, you can see the other two paintings, and some pics of the event, here: [link]

Each paintings is on a woodpaper's table, 100cm x 70cm, made whit acrylic and charcoal.

The sense of motion is the first thing that really catches the eye.
It takes a moment to settle into the piece and truly understand what one is seeing, the feel of whirling about moves a viewer over the entirety of the painting almost too quickly.
Restraint goes unnoticed, for a moment, until my eye is caught by the woman's bared shoulder and travels down her collar to the sudden streak of red. It is then that I understand her pose and turned face, it's daring, risqué.
I find the greatest impact in that clean, white shoulder. There is an overall messiness that is centered around that pristine, soft neckline.
This is a beautiful work full of movement, emotion, conflict and subtlety. I look forward to more.
