I love the soft feeling to this created by the washes and the use of black in a delicate way. The content of the image is very soft and intimate and portrayed very nicely by the color and subtle gradations of the blacks. The muted colors don't come off as muddied but as delicate and washed out and that's very impressive. It's a fine line between muted and muddied. You worked the light blacks with the muted colors perfectly.

The one thing I would work on is the large wash of light blue that works as their shoulders. I understand the figures are androgynous but adding more definition in the shoulders and chest area would make those washes flow nicer. Right now it almost looks like cut out and pasted pieces of paper. The texture works well with the rest of the painting but on the washes it looks like cut out construction paper. Either fade it out so those areas aren't needed or add more definition to make it flow nicely.
