I gave you a critique on another painting and when I looked on your page and saw this one, it was a nice surprise! You commented on my critique and told me that you've been looking at Cy Twombly's work and that you're trying to use more yellow. Well this is a nice start and a breath of fresh air from your other work. I like the change of palette and how you've shifted from a color like blue ( I've noticed prominent blues in your work) to a color like yellow. The watercolor splatter on the left of the figure almost looks like smoke a bit to me. And I'm starting to notice subtle resemblances to Cy Twombly in this piece, such as with the yellow under the figures chin and how it's painted. However, I'm not quite sure what "your fading tips" means but it's a wicked cool title.

The eyes here look almost golden. So to me it doesn't look only "yellow" but it has remnants of gold as well. The stare once again is rather nonchalant and melancholic ( words I used in another critique) and with the drips coming from her eyes look like tears and the way they're parallel almost look like bars. Like she(?) is imprisoned in some way and wants out. In conclusion, the change of palette with you is such a lovely change and I'm glad that you're branching out and trying new things. This is a successful piece in my eyes <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> <3 <3
